May 28, 2026 – The Nova Scotia Energy Board has issued an interim order under Section 24A of the

Beginning on Monday, April 20, 2026, the federal gas tax on gasoline and diesel fuel will be temporarily removed. This tax removal will be in effect until September 7, 2026 (inclusive).

March 25, 2026 — Today, the Energy Board issued its decision on Nova Scotia Power's application to adjust electricity rates for 2026 and 2027.

January 6, 2026 — Mr. MacNeil, an experienced executive and technology systems leader, will join the Nova Scotia Energy and Regulatory Boards Tribunal on January 26, 2026.
